 ity this week\, the wide field of beliefs and practices that surrounds us 
 and informs our own spirituality. We'll look at how traditions have borrow
 ed\, blended\, and clashed across thousands of years\, from Romans taking 
 on Greek gods to the crusades and the Burning Times\, and how the last fif
 ty years of an ever more interconnected world has opened the door to more 
 paths than ever. We'll look at how much variation lives within Wicca alone
 \, with variations in quarters\, ritual rules and etiquette. Gatekeeping o
 ver things like initiation\, lineage\, or book learning only carves chasms
  between us\, and our community needs bridges now more than ever. Monothei
 sm and polytheism\, solitary and coven practice\, ours and theirs: let's f
 ind the middle ground and learn how broadening our view helps to clarify o
