  we usually keep the Zoom call open a bit longer for chatting as folks hea

 he official date of the Autumn Equinox is September 22: one of two days in
  the year when light and dark are in perfect balance. In our tradition\, t
 his is when we cross over from the light half of the year\, the time of li
 fe and action and growth\, into the dark half of the year. The harvest is 
 coming due\, and it's time for the reckoning of our year. What have we acc
 omplished? What must we leave in the field to be turned under in the sprin
 g? It's a time of transition and of initiation\, a time of Mysteries. This
  Saturday we'll be hosting our Mabon ritual out at the Fenner Center campg
 round. We'll have one more opportunity to feast outdoors around the fire a
 nd celebrate the tail-end of summer together\, before following Baldr down
  to Hela's halls in our ritual circle. Our Wednesday discussion will cente
 r around the myths we tell during our Mabon rituals and the meaning of Mys
 tery in our spirituality and practice. Format: DISCUSSION. You're welcome
