Join us in-person or online for our weekly Community Night: an open, cross-tradition discussion space where we learn, share, and build community together. We gather every Wednesday evening for discussion, meditation, ritual nights, and more, with time to socialize before and after.

Schedule:

We start at 6:00pm for casual social time, then at 6:30pm we begin the main discussion (and stream it live on YouTube). After the formal portion ends, we usually keep the Zoom call open a bit longer for chatting as folks head out.

This week: Law of Return

What goes around comes around, or so they say. But does it come back once, or three times? In this lifetime, or the next? The Law of Return is one of the most-quoted ideas in Wicca and also one of the most argued. Is it a literal cosmic multiplier bringing three separate strikes of karma? A gentle ethical guideline? Some scholars argue what Gerald Gardner originally meant was that we are the ones meant to return good things threefold. How did we latch on to the word "karma" anyway? What about the "Love and Light" contingent? Whether you live by the Rule of Three or roll your eyes at fluffy bunnies, bring your thoughts and questions and let's dive in.

Format: DISCUSSION. You're welcome to attend no matter your path or level.

Join options (hybrid):

  • In-person: Weavers of the Web, ATC (Lansing)
  • Online: Join via Zoom for interaction, or via YouTube to watch

Can't make it live?

What to bring (optional but helpful): a notebook, water, and a grounded body. If you're joining from home, set up a cozy ritual space (with candles, incense, etc.) so you can drop into the practice more easily.
