Join us in-person or online for our weekly Community Night: an open, cross-tradition discussion space where we learn, share, and build community together. We gather every Wednesday evening for discussion, meditation, ritual nights, and more, with time to socialize before and after.

Schedule:

We start at 6:00pm for casual social time, then at 6:30pm we begin the main discussion (and stream it live on YouTube). After the formal portion ends, we usually keep the Zoom call open a bit longer for chatting as folks head out.

This week: Protection

We're talking about protection this week, one of humanity oldest survival instincts, from shielding against the elements to warding our sacred spaces. In our tradition, we hold a fundamental belief in a safe universe, but that doesn't mean we skip the locks or stop fighting injustice. Our Gods help teach us to stand up for ourselves, own our own power, and take responsibility for our lives. Securing our own protection is a sacred act for divine beings living a magickal life. We'll explore the many faces of protection: calling on patron deities and guiding spirits, the shield offered from teacher to student, and the practical magick of circles, wards, shielding, and protective spellwork, all rooted in the basic truth that clear intentions and acting in accord are what make the best protections hold firm.

Format: DISCUSSION. You're welcome to attend no matter your path or level.

Join options (hybrid):

  • In-person: Weavers of the Web, ATC (Lansing)
  • Online: Join via Zoom for interaction, or via YouTube to watch

What to bring (optional but helpful): a notebook, water, and a grounded body. If you're joining from home, set up a cozy ritual space (with candles, incense, etc.) so you can drop into the practice more easily.
