A.C. Fisher Aldag
A.C. Fisher Aldag is a folklorist, author, and practitioner of British Isles traditional witchcraft with decades of experience teaching at Pagan gatherings across the Midwest. She is the author of Common Magick (Llewellyn, 2019) and a contributor to Witches and Pagans magazine and Llewellyn periodicals. Her debut novel, Woman Afraid of Water — the first book in the AmeriCelts series — is forthcoming from City Owl Press in 2026. A.C.'s workshops are hands-on, community-focused, and rooted in pre-Gardnerian folk tradition, bringing history, humor, and genuine craft skill to every gathering.

Step off the beaten path and into the green world with folkloric herbalist A.C. Fisher Aldag. This guided nature walk through Lake Lansing Park South will focus on identifying plants you're likely to walk right past and learning the folk magickal and practical uses they've carried for centuries. Learn to spot common allies in the landscape, hear stories of their traditional uses in British Isles folk practice, and leave with a new eye for the living world around you. No experience necessary, just curiosity and comfortable shoes.

This workshop will be held outdoors. Please dress for the weather and wear walking-appropriate footwear.
