Join us in-person or online for our weekly Community Night: an open, cross-tradition discussion space where we learn, share, and build community together. We gather every Wednesday evening for discussion, meditation, ritual nights, and more, with time to socialize before and after. 

Schedule:

We start at 6:00pm for casual social time, then at 6:30pm we begin the main discussion (and stream it live on YouTube). After the formal portion ends, we usually keep the Zoom call open a bit longer for chatting as folks head out.

This week: Patrons

Athens held a contest between two gods to pick its patron, then named the city after the winner. Seems fair to see who can do the job better, right? Most of us probably aren't pitting our gods against each other like that to find a patron, though. Sometimes they choose us, with a pull toward a particular deity, a name that won't stop calling, a recurring presence in dreams and meditation. Sometimes we choose them, seeking out a deity that exemplifies the qualities we want to enhance in ourselves. This week's discussion will cover where the idea of patron deities comes from, what it means to choose (or be chosen by) a god, and why some patrons stay with us for life while others only walk with us for a season. Bring your questions and stories.

Format: DISCUSSION. You're welcome to attend no matter your path or level.

What to bring (optional but helpful): a notebook, water, and a grounded body. If you're joining from home, set up a cozy ritual space (with candles, incense, etc.) so you can drop into the practice more easily.
