America/Detroit
Add to calendar:

Join us in-person or online for our weekly Community Night: an open, cross-tradition discussion space where we learn, share, and build community together. We gather every Wednesday evening for discussion, meditation, ritual nights, and more, with time to socialize before and after.

Schedule:

We start at 6:00pm for casual social time, then at 6:30pm we begin the main discussion (and stream it live on YouTube). After the formal portion ends, we usually keep the Zoom call open a bit longer for chatting as folks head out.

This week's topic: Imbolc, the Great Work, and the Seeds of a Life

At Imbolc, we are not yet born, but we are no longer asleep.

This sabbat stands at the height of winter, at 15° Aquarius, when the world is still frozen on the surface and quietly preparing for growth beneath it. In the language of the Wheel, this is the moment of setting the Great Work: the serious, conscious labor of deciding who you intend to become in the coming year.

Imbolc is not about vague resolutions. It is about deliberate incarnation.

This week we will explore Imbolc as a season of clear thinking, honest self-assessment, and intentional goal-setting. Drawing on the zodiac and the elements, we’ll look at how to plant goals across the whole of your life—money and health, love and creativity, community and calling—and how to avoid the trap of the “wasted year,” where intention is spoken but never embodied.

We’ll talk about our time "in the belly of the Goddess”: a time of releasing old karma, clearing what no longer serves, and choosing, with care, the seeds you are willing to tend for the next full turning of the Wheel.

Bring something to write with. This is a working night.

Join options (hybrid):

What to bring (optional but helpful): a notebook, water, and a grounded body. If you're joining from home, set up a cozy ritual space (with candles, incense, etc.) so you can drop into the practice more easily.
