Purchase of this badge begins the process for your Safe Sanctuaries Clearance, which includes a basic criminal background check and a one-hour Youth Protection Training program and quiz.
Please provide your full name (first and last) in the Notes field at checkout, so we can send you your training links. Upon completion of purchase, you will receive an email with a link to a form to provide your personal government details directly to our security firm to begin the background check. Weavers of the Web will not retain any of that information.
After filling out your background check, you will receive another email with the details for your Youth Protection Training.
You have seven days from the receipt of this email to complete your training.
Once your background check and training have been successfully completed, you will received a final email asking for an essay. You will need to write up your understanding of our
Safe Sanctuaries policy in your own words. This essay will only be viewed by our ordained clergy. Once we have verified your submission, you will be awarded the Safe Sanctuaries badge along with access to additional volunteer jobs.
